Bridging Musical Traditions Together

Throughout history, different cultures have developed and so has their music without a lot of exchange with each other. Fountainhead strives to foster a deeper understanding of the "Other," while honoring and preserving individual cultural identities. The ensemble has set itself the goal of connecting these once-separated musical traditions by celebrating the works of important composers from the rich heritage of both Indian, Middle-Eastern and European music. Through new arrangements, the ensemble seeks to deepen its connection to this musical legacy and reinterpret it for today's listeners.
